Wednesday morning classes are set to return to the timetable in most towns from this September. A basic level of service will be offered in schools for children whose parents can't take the day off. In Nice, 12 council buildings will also welcome children whose nursery or primary schools are closed. School teachers across the Riviera are planning a strike for next Tuesday. The action is in protest against the return to a four-and-a-half-day week. Maybe Hollande's army can drop some arguments to wake them up; going to school for 5 days is pretty normal. And better for the parents too.
