A weekend full of chocolate extasy in Cannes

That chocolate makes you happy, is a commonly known fact. That living on the French Riviera makes you very happy, is also nothing new. But what happens if you are going to do two things at once? Maybe you end up in pure extasy! Lovers of chocolate can lick their lips at the first Salon du Chocolat that takes place in Cannes  this weekend. After Paris, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Moscow and Marseille may we also feel like Charlie in the Chocolate Factory. In Marseille the Salon du Chocolat is already in the Top 5 most visited exhibitions and that's because you see and smell chocolate in all shapes and flavors, but you can also taste! Oooh, water runs already in my mouth. See you there?

More information and tickets online for 9 euros per person (which is a about box of Leonidas chocolates) http://www.salonduchocolat-cannes.com/

Was this the house of Brigitte Bardot?

Neo Provencal Villa / Cannes Le Cannet Pinede 926,000 euros including commission

Well, no. But it could be because this is that kinda house that really kept the old southern French charm, the atmosphere of Brigitte Bardot and Jean-Paul Belmondo, with a Vespa scooter or Mehari on the doorstep and all you really want to do is listen to romantic songs while the champagne stands cold in the cooler and life on the French Riviera can’t be sweeter. These are just a few thoughts that pop up in your mind when you visit this villa. It happened to us and we were instantly in love with this spacious villa with 7 rooms. Built in 1940 and extensively rebuilt in 1999, which, for ¾ is modernized, whilst retaining original styles. In 2012 the owners made another improvement with double glazing and an alarm system. That is unfortunately the modern era but gives you a safe feeling. Are you joining us for a visit?

The charming villa with 6/7 bedrooms gives approx 200 m2 on a plot of 1500m2 enjoyment, on 2 floors, in a quiet and yet close to all amenities. On the ground floor we find the entrance, living room approx 60m2 with cozy fireplace, 1 bedroom suite with bathroom / WC and dressing room, 1 office and 22m3 various cupboards for storage. Via the stairs we walk to the 1st floor, here we have 2 bedrooms with bathroom / WC, 1 suite with bathroom / WC and a beautiful view of your own garden with swimming pool. Outside you have 2 covered parking and 3 outdoor parking. We have already said, there is enough space for the guests of your party. Then we go into the garden, we stand in the sun because the villa is situated south / east, has a flat garden with orchard and part vegetable garden, a large swimming pool with pool house and summer kitchen (organise  barbeque in November, that is really quite normal), a well, a mega wine cellar, a workshop/atelier that can be converted into an independent studio for an au-pair or mothers (in-law).

For the numbercrunchers among us:
Living space: 200 m² / 181 m² SC
Heating: Gas + clim reversible, Water boiler / electric
Located on the southeast
Year: 1999 ¾ (¼ 1940)

Innovative living on the Côte d'Azur

Open terrain to build new properties on the French Riviera is rare and that's the main reason why prices never really go down. It would be interesting to see if new technology used for subway drilling can be used to create apartments in rocks. Would you like to live like this and be the new and improved Fred and Wilma Filntstone?

Three homes in one villa!

Neo Provencal Villa / Le Cannet district "Pinede" € 884,000 FAI *

Some houses are so flexible that they can make everyone happy. Maybe you're a pop star and need a sound studio at home or you have a large and close family and want to live with you grown-up children and their children. Or you want to look after your parents (in law). Which living situation you're looking for, this detached villa has it all. The states which resemble Italian grandparents aanpandig the children live and on request also deal with the household and children. Or where children can just choose to literally close to their parents to live, but independently. In the Netherlands, a family situation almost impossible to find because all the houses are small, but in France it is already much more common. A large building that is inhabited by two families, each with a private entrance and parking, and a swimming pool long dining table where you can find each other. In Italy they do nothing and it is not only fun and good for family ties, also economically advantageous. You pay only 1 time because local housing taxes and you share the cost of maintenance. You can also keep a vegetable garden together, as did Grandpa what to do during the day and may you some fresh zucchini dish on the table. Do not have a family but still want a particular house with many possibilities, then this villa is really something special to see. Pop artists or artists can have fun here, for example, a sound, or to make a luxury guesthouse. A kind Robby Williams, but on his Southern French, always under the sunshine.
