Being a home hunter, Living On The Cote d’Azur knows where to find the best hidden villas and apartments. As we are in a sunny holiday mood (as always), we like to share some of the best hidden beaches on the French Riviera. But whoever reads further, has to promise that this will not be shared with anyone else. Promise? All right. From the highway you have no idea how beautiful it is down there; traffic pushes you towards Fontveille and Monaco but of course you turn right and rive down to the center. Who floats on a boat and admires the French Riviera coastline would preferably immediately moore and swim to the beach. If you do not have a boat and want to avoid parking problems, take the train to the station of Cap d’Ail, hence it is only a few steps to quietly enjoy this hidden beaches.
Mala beach is a beauty among the rocks. While you lie on the fine sand, you hear the roar of the sea reflecting off the rocks. A paradise with a beautiful sunset.
The Marquet beach next to the harbor of Cap d’Ail, providing all possible water sports for the whole family, sailing, kite surfing and catamaran to the popular paddling on a surfboard.
Another special point to relax is the so-called Pointe des Douaniers, a volcanic rock in an undeveloped area, surrounded by green gardens.
For the experienced swimmers among us, a trip to Pissarelles the best reward, this beach is free and fierce. Access is difficult due to the “Basse Corniche”, but Pissarelles is definitely worth it.
